The Vermont Public Health Association (VtPHA) believes that a partnership between public and private organizations is needed to support a comprehensive system of substance abuse education, prevention, intervention, treatment, recovery, and research services.

Increased access to inpatient and community-based substance abuse treatment facilities and counseling
Increased access to tobacco cessation programs
Enforcement of laws related to tobacco, alcohol, and illegal drug use

VtPHA is a membership organization which facilitates collaboration among people who care about public health and are interested in protecting and promoting the health of Vermont residents.
